Fairy Lake cave is the newest one to the vast collection of 2000 islets in the World Heritage Halong Bay. The name Tien Ong Cave is still strange many tourists, but it is one of the most beautiful caves on Halong Bay. Fairy Lake cave owns both enchanting beauty and magical values of geology, geomorphology and formation history of Halong Bay.
To explore Fairy Lake cave, visitors can choose to go paddling by kayak or small boats paddled by the locals. Inside the case stands two compartments in total. The entrance gate of the first entrance gate of Fairy Lake cave is very narrow, just letting one person passing at the same time. Going through the tunnel, visitors will be immediatedly amazed by various stalactites beautifully sparkling hung down from the ceiling. Go deeper, many stalagmites rises from the ground and connect the ground to the ceiling. The the small boat will lead you to the second chamber of Fairy Lake cave, where you take the opportunity to see a lake with shallow water, covered by lime-stone mountains, where fairies came here for bathing and sleeping according to legends of local residents.
